Beautiful Beaches

Lourinhã has excellent beaches for kids and adults to enjoy. We stayed at the youth hostel Areia Branca which is literally on the beach and had a superb time here. The beach can be a little windy. Make sure you take a jacket and a windbreaker if possible. From here you can also visit the Dino Park in Lourinhã and the local museum is an excellent way to escape the heat. It was an informative museum of local customs. Try the local sweet bean pastry. We had some that came straight out of the oven and were to die for.
