Los Angeles County is the most populous county in the United States, where glamorous movie stars and make-it-big dreamers share the city with laid-back surfer types, a vibrant migrant community, and working Angelenos who keep La-La Land running.Botoxe movie stars and make-it-big dreamers share space with laid-back surfers along the coast, working-class Angelenos and a vibrant immigrant community. The coastal communities, including Santa Monica and Venice Beach radiate an easygoing surfer vibe, with travelers seeking out the great beaches and the eclectic Venice Boardwalk, trendy restaurants and boutiques along Venice's Abbott-Kinney neighborhood, or the carousel at the Santa Monica Pier. Inland, culture seekers flock to Hollywood's club scene, check out music along the Sunset Strip, and seek the hipster indie clubs in Silverlake. Sunset and Twilight: The Magnificent Views from the Los Angeles Observatory
The sunset views from the observatory, especially the twilight, are often breathtaking. The observatory's elevated location provides a wide-open view, allowing people to appreciate the magnificent sunset. As the sun slowly sets, the sky's colors gradually change from golden to orange-red, and then to deep blue, creating a splendid picture. 🌟🌟
Twilight occurs because sunlight is scattered by the atmosphere. When the sun is near the horizon, the light has to pass through a thicker layer of the atmosphere. The shorter wavelengths of blue and green light are scattered away, leaving the longer wavelengths of red and orange light, which is what we see as twilight. 👊👊
Watching the sunset at the observatory, the surrounding astronomical equipment and buildings add visual layers, making one feel the harmonious coexistence of technology and nature. You can also see the distant mountains or city skyline, adding more beauty to the twilight. 👍💞
Many people choose to watch the sunset at the observatory, bringing cameras or sketchbooks to capture the moment's beauty. The changes in twilight are fleeting, and as the light changes, the scene constantly evolves, making it mesmerizing. 🌹
During the process of watching twilight, one can feel inner peace and relaxation. It is a moment of intimate contact with nature, allowing people to rethink the beauty of life. 🫶🫶
The sunset and twilight at the observatory are not only a visual feast but also a spiritual enjoyment, making people feel the brevity of life and the magnificence of nature. Each viewing is a unique experience worth savoring. 👍👍💯💯🌹
Los Angeles Natural History Museum: Discover Hidden Treasures
The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, located in the heart of the bustling city of Los Angeles, is one of the lesser-known attractions often overlooked by tourists. This museum boasts a rich collection that includes dinosaur skeletons, art sculptures, and outdoor gardens, offering a fulfilling day of learning and exploration.
First and foremost, the Dinosaur Hall is one of the most captivating exhibits in the museum. It features enormous skeletons of Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus rex, displayed in lifelike poses that transport visitors back to ancient times. These beautifully preserved dinosaur fossils are a hallmark of the Natural History Museum and a paradise for dinosaur enthusiasts.
Next, the museum's indoor galleries not only house scientific collections but also feature a stunning domed hall. Here, visitors can marvel at the spectacular sculptures and intricate architectural details. Particularly striking is the towering central sculpture of three women holding a globe symbolizing enlightenment, radiating classical aesthetics that perfectly complement the hall's architectural style.
Finally, for those looking to relax after exploring the indoor exhibits, the museum's outdoor gardens are an ideal retreat. Lush with greenery and diverse plant species, the gardens offer a sense of tranquility and vitality. On sunny days, strolling through the gardens allows visitors to appreciate the horticultural designs, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy moments of comfort and leisure.
In summary, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles is not only a great place to learn about natural history but also a comprehensive cultural venue that integrates science, art, and nature. As an off-the-beaten-path attraction, it offers rich exhibition content without the hustle and bustle of crowds, making it perfect for visitors who love to explore and seek unique experiences.
Los Angeles Sunset Spot: Levitated Mass at LACMA
If you're looking for the best sunset spot in Los Angeles, Levitated Mass at LACMA is definitely worth a visit. This unique outdoor art installation is not only eye-catching but also an ideal place to watch a magnificent sunset.
😘The Charm of Levitated Mass
Levitated Mass is a giant rock designed by artist Michael Heizer, suspended on a concrete base, creating a stunning visual effect. Taking photos with the setting sun in the background📷 results in beautiful pictures😍
At dusk, the surroundings become particularly enchanting. The afterglow of the sunset reflects on Levitated Mass, and the scenery around it changes with the light and shadows. Standing here, feeling the breeze on your face, quietly enjoying the sunset, it feels as if time has stopped.
Moreover, you can combine your visit with exploring LACMA and its surroundings, making it a perfect spot for a fun-filled day😊

Los Angeles Union Station is the largest railway passenger station in the western United States. Built in 1939, it has a history of over 85 years.
💞Recommended Reasons:
This station is not only historically significant but also attracts visitors with its unique architectural style and aesthetic design. In 1980, Los Angeles Union Station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, making it a must-visit free attraction. 🫶🏻
While the exterior of the station may not be as eye-catching as some luxurious buildings, the interior is quite elegant. The circular arches extend into spacious areas, and the ceilings, lighting, and carvings are all exquisitely detailed, making you feel as if you're walking through classical architecture from a bygone era. This location has also been featured in many famous films, so even if you don't plan on taking a train, it's highly recommended to visit, take some photos📸, and appreciate the charm of this station.💯

Los Angeles' Astonishing Attraction: Want to Take a Ride? The World's Shortest and Steepest Railway!
The kiss between the protagonists in the movie 'La La Land' at Angels Flight Railway has made it a super popular spot! The track is only 99 meters long and can take you up to the Contemporary Art Museum or down to the Central Market for a stroll.
Angels Flight Railway, located in downtown Bunker Hill, Los Angeles, California, is a famous local landmark. The railway is 99 meters long with a slope of about 33 degrees. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the world's shortest funicular railway.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art: Urban Light Attraction
The most famous spot at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is the Urban Light installation at the entrance. This artwork, created by artist Chris Burden, consists of functional street lamps and embodies the essence of Los Angeles street culture. With twenty to thirty street lamps of varying heights, ranging from six to nine meters, it also served as a filming location for the movie 'No Strings Attached.' Urban Light symbolizes the changing cityscape of Los Angeles and is one of the most iconic attractions in the downtown area.
The Urban Light installation in front of LACMA's entrance plaza features a total of 202 street lamps. These lamps were collected from various locations in Southern California during the 1920s and 1930s by an avid collector. To highlight the uniqueness of each lamp, designer Chris Burden painted all 202 lamps in the same iron-gray color. Now powered by solar energy, Urban Light illuminates the entire plaza at night. Lastly, it must be mentioned again that LACMA's famous Urban Light is truly amazing; walking through it feels like being in a dreamlike movie scene.
California's Universal Studios Hollywood | A Must-Visit for Movie Fans!
Universal Studios Hollywood in California is definitely one of the must-visit attractions for a Los Angeles trip. Even if you've been to Universal Studios Japan, you'll still have a blast here because the attractions are almost entirely different! Especially the exclusive Studio Tour at Hollywood's Universal Studios, since this is the actual filming location for Hollywood movies. Just touring the studio is incredibly fun!
Universal Studios Hollywood in California, USA, is the world's first Universal Studios. Located in Universal City, Los Angeles, it opened in 1915. Initially, it was established to allow visitors to tour real 'studios and sets,' but it gradually transformed into a theme park. It officially opened as a theme park in 1964. Today, Hollywood's Universal Studios still retains its historic and operational production studios, setting it apart from other amusement parks. Many of the experiences and attractions at Hollywood's Universal Studios are authentic, unique, and irreplicable, available only at this location. Currently, only California's Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan have Super Nintendo World areas!
Harry Potter like fantasy bookstore, The Last Bookstore♥️
#bookstoresandgalleries
Check in at a Harry Potter like fantasy bookstore, The Last Bookstore, a magical bookstore in the world. I love browsing the vinyl section, but I don't quite understand. But a hair burning Mav attachment that is definitely suitable for someone who likes vinyl records.
In order to ensure the reading environment, cameras are not allowed to take pictures in the bookstore, only use the mobile phone Mordor Most Beautiful Bookstore.
In addition, the bookstore also sells related souvenirs, which are very creative. A [Note] When thinking of the actual name of the Southern Information Bureau to make an appointment in advance, it is better to make an appointment in advance when going to the weekend

[Los Angeles] Universal Studios from opening to closing
Universal Studio is the most successful "Hollywood" theme park in the world. It is distributed in major cities around the world. It does international business and shapes world-class brands.
Especially as the originator Universal Studios in Los Angeles, it is even more
TripAdvisor is listed as a must-do thing to do in Los Angeles
Top of the list!! It can be said that if you don't come to Los Angeles or go to Universal Studios, it will be in valn.
For Universal Studios, you need to register to buy tickets online, and the operation time of the park is from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. I'm going to stay from the opening to the closing.
12 hours, so I bought an ordinary ticket, but I strongly recommend everyone to buy Universal Express, because one of the purposes of my travel is to experience the lifestyle of local ordinary people. I have no choice but to spend more money for privileges, but most people don't have me. I don't have my physical strength and endurance, so I advise you to buy Express directly for the sake of your travel comfort, especially if it's not easy for you to come from Asia.
Don't save this small amount of money. 💰
Universal Studios Supremacy Hollywood🌟🌹

Arrived at 8:30 in the morning, no one queued up to play the mummy and the Transformers in Ambiguous Rocky Park. They were suspended and closed, and then went to play the two items of Harry Potter, exactly the same as those in Osaka, Beijing. You played an English version and then went to play the universal studio tour. It was worth it and only Hollywood has it! I played Simpson again, and I personally love Simpson the most. I really enjoyed watching it and filmed it for half an hour. I met him and got it! Then I went to paint the mummy again. I came to shoot Transformers for the second time. It was shown that I had to arrange for minutes. Then the Haocaiwu Universal Studios, who likes to travel to the beautiful Guoqin, left the park
From LA Buzz to Huntington Beach Bliss
#100WaysOfTravel
I recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure in Los Angeles and Huntington Beach! The journey began with a thrilling visit to Dodger Stadium, where I cheered on the Dodgers amidst a sea of passionate fans. Next, I strolled through Beverly Hills, soaking in the luxury and stopping at the iconic hotel from "Pretty Woman." The adventure continued at Huntington Beach, where I basked in the sun, watched playful seals, and was amazed by sightings of dolphins and a majestic blue whale. This trip perfectly blended the vibrant energy of LA with the serene beauty of the California coast—truly a dream holiday!

Visited the Universal Studios Hollywood , a very nice movie-based theme park. The Studio Tour is a tram ride through the real studio sets and a few sound stages with some special effects sprinkled in has immersive environments. You will have lotsa fun and I suggest you can get the universal express ticket from $199.
Getting there By Metro:
The Metro Red Line train from Downtown LA or Hollywood stops at Universal City. Across from the Metro station and bus stop is a Universal Studios shuttle which provides complimentary service every 10 to 15 minutes to the front gate of Universal Studios Hollywood.

Watts Towers Arts Center 🇺🇸
#bookstoresandgalleries
My visit to the Watts Towers Arts Center in Los Angeles was a unique and inspiring part of my summer vacation! 🎨🏰 Located in the Watts neighborhood, the arts center is home to the remarkable Watts Towers—an intricate series of towers made from steel and adorned with mosaic tiles, shells, and glass. The entrance fee is modest, around $10, which is a great value for such a distinctive cultural experience.
The towers were created by Simon Rodia over 33 years, and the detail and creativity are truly impressive. The arts center also features exhibits about Rodia’s life and the local community’s artistic endeavors. The surrounding Watts neighborhood has a rich history, and it’s worth exploring the nearby community murals and cultural sites. 🌟🖼️

Los Angeles|Griffith Observatory Travel Tips
Griffith Observatory, the filming location of the movie 'La La Land', is one of the must-visit attractions in Los Angeles and one of my personal favorites😌.
.
🚕Transportation
✔️Take a taxi directly up the hill. After getting off, walk a short distance to the entrance. It is recommended to avoid holidays and weekends, and go a bit earlier. Many people go up the hill around 4 or 5 PM to watch the sunset🌇, which can cause traffic jams.
✔️When going down, you can take a free shuttle bus to the bottom of the hill and then take a taxi, which can save some fare😁.
👀Highlights
✔️The observatory does not require an entrance fee. Watching a show costs $10, and you can buy tickets on the spot. The seats are incredibly comfortable, especially for those who have been walking all day. Lying on the sofa and looking up at the vast universe is extremely relaxing👏.
✔️Viewing through the telescope is free, but you need to wait in a long line.
✔️Don't miss the dome mural and Foucault pendulum in the observatory hall.
✔️Be sure not to miss the sunset🌅 and the twilight after sunset at the observatory, which are breathtakingly beautiful.
⚠️Reminders
✔️Closed on Mondays.
✔️The signal📶 on the hill is not very good, especially indoors.
Walk into American TV Series | Explore the City of Angels, Los Angeles
The place where you see Los Angeles the most is probably in American TV series. Finally, I had the chance to drive along Highway 1 and see the real-life scenes from the TV.
The most unforgettable thing about Los Angeles, besides the purple beach of Santa Monica, is the high parking fees! $40/hour, I guess I won't have the chance to park in a more expensive parking lot in my lifetime.
✅ Attractions Introduction:
Universal Studios - A collection of roller coasters, highly recommend the Harry Potter themed area, the level of detail is just too high!
Griffith Observatory - The sun sets around 19:00-20:00, you can see the purple-pink sky and the golden observatory;
Desert Hills Premium Outlets - It is said to have 180 brands, including Fendi, Burberry, BV, but no LV or Gucci. It's good for buying American local brands, and out-of-season Coach items are really cheap!
Beverly Hills - The name itself sounds high-end, a collection of various brands, don't miss it if you want to shop!
Santa Monica Beach - Next to the Pacific Ocean! The best time for photos is in the evening when you can capture the pink sky. ⚠️ The parking meters on the roadside charge $2.5/hour, and you have to buy at least 3 hours!
Angels Flight - The famous scene in LALA LAND where the male and female leads kiss is on Angels Flight. This short 1KM railway is built on a slope and witnessed the brief but beautiful love between Mia and Sebastian;
Grand Central Market - Foreign markets always have a kind of allure, just like the market in Barcelona redefined my understanding of markets. Most stores in LA start their business day at 10 AM;
Staples Center - The timing wasn't right, it wasn't NBA season, so I couldn't get into the arena. Even though I'm not a basketball fan, I still hope to watch a game of the world-famous NBA;
✅ Car Rental and Usage:
⭕️ After exiting Los Angeles International Airport, follow the signs to the designated area to wait for your car rental company's shuttle bus;
⭕️ The shuttle bus will take you to the car rental hall, which is not far, about a 5-10 minute drive;
⭕️ Register yourself at the self-service kiosk to complete the car rental process, then go out and pick up the car;
⭕️ The actual car you get may be different from the model you booked (I booked a Corolla but got a Nissan), but it will be a vehicle of the same class;
⭕️ The car comes with a navigation system, but to be safe, it's better to use your phone's navigation to the hotel;
⭕️ The hotel only offers paid parking services, $36 per day (excluding tax), unlike in China where hotel parking is usually free;
⭕️ In the US, you can refuel at the machine with a chip-enabled credit card or go inside to the counter, tell the clerk the pump number, the fuel grade, and the amount, then go out and refuel yourself;
⭕️ At intersections in the US, if there is a stop sign, you must come to a complete stop and make sure there are no people before proceeding;
⭕️ If you encounter a school bus unloading or an ambulance, you must pull over and stop;
⭕️ ⚠️ Be sure to have sunglasses ready, the UV rays in LA are very strong, and the afternoon sun can easily make you feel tired;

Where the Light Shines at LACMA 💡
The Urban Light Sculpture is an iconic (and free) installation located at the entrance of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
Stepping into the courtyard, I was greeted by a symphony of vintage street lamps standing tall against the night sky. Created by artist Chris Burden, 202 vintage street lamps were sourced from various locations around Southern California to create this installation. Despite the lampposts ranging in style and design from different eras, their arrangement in a grid formation created a visually striking and symmetrical display.
Each lamp seemed to whisper stories of the past, evoking nostalgia and wonder. Walking amidst them felt like strolling through a forest of illuminated memories, each lamp casting intricate shadows and patterns on the ground. The meticulous arrangement of the lamps created a mesmerizing visual spectacle.
I found the Urban Light sculpture to be a vibrant experience, offering a unique blend of art, history, and urban charm.

Finding my favourite Stars in LA 🎬🎶
To me, visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a tribute to the icons of the entertainment industry. I got here via the LA Metro Red Line (Line B) and got off at the Hollywood/ Highland station, which have exits conveniently located along the walk of fame.
Walking along the star-studded sidewalk felt like stepping into the history of entertainment, with icons from Walt Disney to Michael Jackson immortalized beneath my feet.
I challenged myself to see how many of these icons I could recognise and to be honest, I didn’t recognise most of them 😂 I did find Jackie Chan’s plaque and made sure to take a photo with it as he was my favourite movie action star growing up.

To me, Hong Kong is a city that has so much to offer - culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong to visit the Instagram spot of Sai Wan Swimming Shed, stop at a cafe at Sheung Wan to savour a cup of latte, climb to the roof of Hong Kong at the ICC Sky 100 Observation Deck and...so much more!
Griffith Observatory for NON-GEEKS
If you are not a fan of museums like me, there is still a reason to visit Griffith Observatory - the fantastic view of LA.
I took LA DOT’s FREE (YES IT IS FOC) DASH Observatory/ Los Feliz bus to Griffith Observatory, and it dropped us off right at the entrance. The bus ride was fun, and we got to see some cool sights along the way.
Once we arrived, we climbed up a little hill to reach the observatory, and the view was amazing! We could see all of Los Angeles spread out below us like a giant puzzle. The tall buildings downtown, the Hollywood sign in the distance, and rolling hills of Griffith Park. We spent hours just staring at the view and taking pictures. Inside the observatory, we learned all about space and stars, but nothing beats the view from outside.
