Melattep

MeLattep is still fairly new, having opened just 10 months ago but it has clearly become a beloved part of the community because there were lots of people going in and out. This spot is Latina owned and I actually got to speak with the owner, Luz, who was very hands on and friendly. The shop has all the classic coffee beverages served iced and hot but the real eye catchers are the empanadas! They had so many options both sweet and savory. The decorations were also amazing and Luz gives space for local artists to showcase their work. I got an iced cafe con leche and 2 empanadas, the beef-potato and guava.
