The outer building has 4 floors, with 48 rooms on each floor and 6 rooms in each hexagram. Each hexagram has a staircase, which constitutes a unit. The hexagrams are connected by arches. The local architectural style of Zhencheng Building and the colors used for the gate, inner walls, ancestral hall, flower wall, etc. boldly adopt the principle of diversity and unity emphasized by Western architectural aesthetics, achieving a very high aesthetic realm. It can be called a masterpiece of raw earth residential architecture that combines Chinese and Western styles. In 2001, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Tulou Prince can really be said to be worthy of his name, with a very grand aura, and basically retains his original appearance without excessive modification. When you enter the earth building, you will see lanterns hanging high up, which is exactly the same as the scene in Big Fish and Begonia. It is very beautiful. As the weather in the south is relatively humid, the first floor of the earth buildings was originally not inhabited and was mostly used to store miscellaneous items. However, with the development of commerce, the first floor of the earth buildings here has mostly been developed into shops.
