Welcomed with Exceptional Service

This marks our second stay at the Hotel. Upon arrival, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and paid great attention to us. They even ensured we had a room ready by eleven in the morning, a rare occurrence for any hotel! We dined at the hotel's superb Tokii restaurant. Contrary to the reviews we'd read about inattentive staff, we found them quite the opposite. Someone was always nearby if needed. We both indulged in the Omakase 'chef's choice' menu, featuring 13 small but delicious courses. Having never experienced this before, we can't compare, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The meal included various sushi portions, miso soup, a street-food style nori cone with rice and salmon, finishing with divine strips of wagyu and grilled asparagus—truly one of the best things we've eaten. We also chose the sake pairing, sampling four types of sake throughout the evening. Both the food and sake were presented by the charming Valentina, a knowledgeable host who shared her expertise on sake production and the different milling and distillation processes. It was an enjoyable and educational night! Afterward, we headed to the Malt bar, continuing with a delightful selection of Japanese blended and single malts. The bar, sadly overlooked, had just us there. What a fantastic way to conclude the day. As for the room, the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The next morning, breakfast was freshly prepared for us, departing from the usual buffet, with a selection of meats, cheeses, and pastries, which was perfect for us.
