A Five-Star Day at the Tower of London

The Tower of London earns a five-star rating, and it's a must-see. You already know this. Special praise goes to YW Glynne, a fantastic, humorous, and engaging guide who kept a diverse group of people entertained and informed for nearly ninety minutes. A fellow Stopfordian too ☺️ I had never seen the ravens up close before, so encountering them on the stairway to the White Tower was a remarkable surprise and truly a standout moment. The remembrance poppies looked stunning. Living just across the river, I feel lucky to visit whenever I wish, which is fortunate because there's so much to take in that it requires more than just half a day. One suggestion: the entrance signage could be clearer in directing visitors on where physical tickets are to be purchased or exchanged from online bookings. I only found one sign, which was a bit misleading, directing me to the entrance, only to be sent back to the opposite end and back again. Staff acknowledged this issue and mentioned it needed improvement, and I hope feedback like this speeds up that change. Thanks to everyone at the Tower + a fantastic day.
