Candella Tea Room is a famous cream tea restaurant not only among tourists but also among locals. It is a local restaurant that my friend who lives in London, England recommended to me. Since it is such a popular London cream tea restaurant, there are many cases where there are no seats if you go without a reservation. I went right when it opened at 11 o'clock, but there were no seats, so I sat outside. Luckily, a reservation customer didn't show up, so I was able to enjoy cream tea inside the cafe. Cream tea is a simplified version of afternoon tea, and it is a British culture of eating scones and tea together. You cut a scone in half, spread clotted cream on it, and then spread strawberry jam on top. The scone was warm, soft, and rich, so it was really delicious. In particular, this tea room has such a great atmosphere and the staff are so lovely that I felt good all day after visiting. There are so many kinds of tea, but I chose Orange Blossom Oolong. It is a rich oolong tea with a subtle citrus scent, so I refilled it with hot water and drank it.
