The Dundee Arms

The Dundee Arms is located opposite legendary boxing venue The York Hall in Bethnal Green in the East End of London. The nearest Tube is Bethnal Green. There has been a pub on this site since the late 18th century, the pub you see today was built in the 19th century. There are some stunning Victorian tiles by the entrance. This is a good size one bar pub that is traditionally decorated with some contemporary touches here and there. The servery is located on the left and stretches down the length of the main bar area. The decor consists of exposed brick and cobalt blue panelled walls, a bare boarded floor, some beautiful artworks and two long dimpled banquettes. There are some interesting features to the pub, there is a nice collection of Toby Jugs, some detailed woodwork and I loved the James Brown poster. At the rear of the pub is an intimate beer garden with a heated snug.
