Natural History Museum

NHM Natural History Museum subchapter This is a big whale and more! Whale! Whale! It's such a pity that I didn't take a picture of the exterior, it really is just a whole big castle, and once you enter you're completely immersed in a 'Night at the Museum' vibe It was a rushed first visit because there was only one hour left until closing, so I didn't get to look around properly, I was totally captivated by the main hall (it's definitely a great spot for photos with the girls) I must go back and take a proper look next time! The staff highly recommend making a reservation, but walk-ins are also fine, however, you can only stand in the cold wind and watch enviously as people with tickets enter one by one while your own line doesn't move at all (but entering from the VA side door, I tested and it only took 5mins to queue, and once inside it's a different area, walking through the connecting passage will get you to the main hall where the big whale hangs)
