Difficulty with booking calander

On line after a few attempts to book the correct dates, i'd thought I had booked 1st, but when I arrived at the hotel, they explained my booking was for the 3rd. Not a problem at the hotel. They had rooms and the lovely staff found one for me for £12.00 more than the booked room, and they advised me to cancel the 3rd booking, which I have tried to do. Im just waiting for the refund. Also took me a while to find the hotel as the postcode covers a large area. I would suggest for directions, use WHAT3WORDS for more accurate directions. Room was clean and tidy, but could do with a bit of handyman repairs. All in all, good location for the motorway, friendly helpful staff and clean and tidy room. Lets see if I get my refund.......
