Liyang｜Come see the Nanhai Bamboo Forest and soak in a hot spring

On a day off, I went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Liyang, Jiangsu, and chose the Yushui Hot Spring · Zhuxi Valley Hotel. I booked the Huawu Mountain View room. What attracted me was their standalone villas built halfway up the mountain. Waking up in bed in the morning and looking at the mountains is quite poetic and picturesque. The hotel’s special feature is that the rooms come with private hot spring baths, very private, and it’s also very close to the Nanshan Bamboo Sea scenic area. Each room is equipped with a butler. Contact her to arrange pick-up and drop-off, and the minibar drinks in the fridge are unlimited! I think it’s even better than Naked Stables at Moganshan [Cute][Cute][Cute]. If you’re traveling with three people, Wyndham is very suitable. I stayed in the Bamboo View standard room. The hotel has excellent security, is very quiet, and the facilities are exquisite, thoughtful, and high-quality. Even without leaving the hotel, it’s enough for young kids to play: swimming (two large pools), feeding alpacas 🦙, horseback riding, crafts (I painted a straw hat that day), and visiting the dinosaur park on the mountain top (not big but with a great atmosphere; the aunt who manages the park is very fond of children, and we even encountered a sika deer). The sense of escape is 💯. ⚠️ But to be honest, the service was a bit disappointing. If you’re traveling with a big family, Zhuxi Valley is better! This time we had a large group and booked the Wenyuexia room type, which has two bedrooms and two living rooms, very spacious. The Nanshan Bamboo Sea scenic area is adjacent, and the hotel is built on the mountain with very open views, giving a Southeast Asian wild luxury vibe. ❤️ Worth mentioning is that all the staff have excellent service attitudes. There aren’t many activities inside the hotel, mainly swimming and enjoying the scenery, but it’s very close to the scenic area and there is a shuttle bus. Breakfast at both hotels is decent, with Zhuxi Valley being more abundant; for dinner, Wyndham’s fish head soup is very tasty. 🏡 Room Types Zhuxi Valley Wenyuexia Two-Bedroom Villa: “Two-story independent living room + private pool + balcony view” — a heavenly setup, each room comes with its own hot spring bath! Yangxin Valley Ziwei Residence: Four-bedroom villa, no living room, “independent large lawn + chess and card room,” with a nice sunset view.
