They came from the tomb of the He Dan family, a political advisor during the Southern Song Dynasty. In the early 1980s, they were collected and moved to the front of Yanyu Tower on Mount Wanxiang for preservation. There are nine stone carvings in total: Military Generals × 2 Stone Horses × 3 Stone Tigers × 2 Stone Sheep × 2 I originally went to find the [Lingjiu Temple Stone Pagoda], but I found these relocated tomb passage stone figures halfway up the mountain. Although precious, they are not as exquisite as the Southern Song stone figures in Dongqian Lake, Ningbo. ✓【Lishui Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Site】 The carvings are made of bluestone and employ various carving techniques such as round carving, openwork carving, and line carving. The lines are smooth and lifelike. All are relics of the Southern Song Dynasty, with high historical and artistic value. They are precious objects for studying the burial customs and stone carving techniques of the Southern Song Dynasty.
