#wecreate The Church of Santa Engrácia is a 17th-century monument in Lisbon, Portugal. Originally a church it was converted into the National Pantheon, in which important Portuguese personalities are buried. The building itself has an impressive white façade, in many respects it looks a bit like the Sacre Coeur cathedral in Paris’ Montmartre. Our suggestion is once you take your tickets head upstairs straight to the terrace. The corridor can be a bit narrow but with a bit of luck no one will be coming downstairs. This is a good opportunity to see the Alfama neighbourhood from above and also the Marina area. #gothicarchitecture #portugueselegends
