Zhaoxing Dong Village

Recognized as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, the village is renowned for its traditional wooden architecture, including drum towers and stilted houses. The drum towers are constructed entirely from wood and are named after the five traditional virtues: Ren (benevolence), Yi (righteousness), Li (courtesy), Zhi (wisdom), and Xin (faithfulness). Culture: The village is predominantly inhabited by the Dong ethnic minority and is a center for experiencing authentic Dong culture. The Dong people are known for their polyphonic singing, known as the Dong Grand Song, which is a key cultural highlight.
