Zhangye Danxia Landform

Zhangye Danxia Landform Scenic Area is located in Linze and Sunan counties at the northern foothills of the Qilian Mountains. It is one of the must-visit internet-famous spots in Northwest China. The scenery is spectacular and naturally formed, often referred to as 'Nature's overturned palette.' The scenic area is vast, and shuttle buses are needed to travel between the five viewing platforms. The No. 1 scenic area is the largest, and climbing up the high viewing platform offers a broad and panoramic view. It is recommended to check the weather in advance, as the vibrancy of the scenery is closely related to the weather and time of day, with sunrise and sunset being the most beautiful times. The entrance fee (including the sightseeing bus) is 93 yuan per adult, with different discounts available for students and seniors over 60 (valid ID required). There is a large parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, making it convenient for self-driving tourists to park and camp.
