Lijiang Ancient Town- A step back in time.

Getting There - Lijiang ancient town is located roughly 35-40 minutes from Lijiang airport by taxi. Attractions - For me, the best thing to do during the day is explore. I enjoyed getting lost and taking photos of the old town. To the north is Shuhe and Baisha ancient towns, which are less touristy and a little quieter. Around the towns are plenty of things to do, such as mountain top shows, the tiger leaping gorge, hiking and a few museums. Hotels - There are hotels to suit all budgets. There's an Intercontinental on the edge of town for luxury, or you can spend as little as 50rmb per night for a perfectly comfortable room. Food & Restaurants - If you love hot pot, you'll love the selection. There's also a wide variety of street food as well as buffet style restaurants.
