5 Days 4 Nights Family Trip to Lijiang! A Guide for Moms Without Exhaustion or Altitude Sickness

Our family spent half a month in Yunnan to escape the summer heat~ Dali, Xizhou, Shaxi, Lijiang, Shangri-La, traveling all the way with no one suffering from altitude sickness! Here’s a 5-day 4-night family travel guide for Lijiang: Day 1⃣ Taxi from Shaxi to Lijiang, 2 hours In the evening, we went to Sifang Music Hall in Shuhe Ancient Town and joined a lively bonfire party 🔥 . Day 2⃣ Baisha Ancient Town 📍A day tour in Baisha Ancient Town: Baisha Mural Museum – Luckin Coffee – Ancient Naxi Theme Post Office – Shambhala Milk Tea 🧋 – Buke Croissant 🥐 – Qiao Ke Toy House 🍫 – Baisha Story Market – Baisha Bookstore Spent the whole afternoon at Baisha Bookstore! Drawing, playing with cats 🐱, dogs 🐕, alpacas 🦙, and free stamping～ . Day 3⃣ Shuhe Ancient Town + Lijiang Old Town 📍Shuhe Ancient Town walking and photo route: Jiuding Longtan – Yanliu Alley – Qinglong Bridge – Sifang Street – Tea Horse Road Museum – Three-Eyed Well – Flying Flowers Touching Water – Cat’s Sky City – 🍚 Lunch at Fuxian Small Pot Rice 📍Lijiang Old Town food and sightseeing route: Big Waterwheel – Wenchang Palace Viewing Platform – Dayan Flower Alley – Sakura Restaurant – Paper Umbrella Street – Nuosu Fragrant Cake – Loyalty Market – Yongfeng Food . Day 4⃣ Yuhu Village + Wenhai Village Rented an 8-seater car, 300 RMB for the day for seven people, super cost-effective! 📍Yuhu Village: 2700 meters altitude Section A: Visitor Center – Yuhu Village Square, then walk 500 meters to 👇 Changshou Village pick-up point Section B: Take the sightseeing bus from Changshou Village → Longnu Lake The man-made lake view is average, but the stable + horse herd together, the grassland lakeside photos are quite nice Tips: The descent is also in two trips returning the same way . 📍Wenhai Village: The most beautiful place unexpectedly discovered on this Lijiang trip is Wenhai Village, worth climbing over mountains to reach the 3100-meter altitude! ✅ Mountain-top car coffee: overlooking the entire Lijiang city view ✅ Horse riding on the mountain top: 50 RMB per round, one adult and one child, 30 minutes ✅ Flower Tree Coffee: check in with snow mountain window view 🏔 .
