The three ancient towns in Lijiang are revealed! Why do I love Shuhe alone?

During this month of my stay in Yunnan, I spent most of my time leisurely in Dali, and Lijiang, I set aside five days to slowly explore. When you take your children out, everything is about leisure and relaxation, and you can play wherever you go. After arriving in Lijiang, there was a bit of altitude sickness, so the plan to visit Ligu Lake and Shangri-La was abandoned. However, the beauty of Yunnan is really worth reminiscing over and over again, and I will definitely go again in the future. Lijiang is home to three ancient towns, namely Dayan Ancient Town, Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha Ancient Town, each with its own characteristics and style. 1️⃣Dayan Ancient Town: As the largest ancient town in Lijiang, it has a long history of nearly a thousand years, retaining many ancient buildings, full of traces of time, precipitating deep cultural background. We went for a stroll at night, the bar street was bustling with activity, and the square street and the big waterwheel were even more crowded. If you like the lively and noisy atmosphere, then the night is the perfect place to go to Dayan Ancient Town; but if you want to take a quiet photo, then get up early, the early morning of Dayan Ancient Town seems to be forgotten by time, the whole ancient town is your location, beautiful! 2️⃣ Baisha Ancient Town: Known as "the ancient city of Lijiang twenty years ago", this place retains the rich Naxi culture in its original flavor, and is also closest to Yulong Snow Mountain. Standing in the ancient town of Baisha, you can look up at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and feel the majestic shock of nature. However, this season we came, the view of the snow-capped mountains was not too ideal, and we walked around and left. 3️⃣ In comparison, the ancient town of Shuhe has relatively fewer visitors, and that is why it retains more tranquility and ease. The ancient town of Shuhe has both the picturesque field scenery and the gentle charm of the Jiangnan water town. Small bridges and flowing water surround people, and flowers dot the streets. Everywhere exudes a charming atmosphere. In the ancient town of Shuhe, Jiuding Longtan must not be missed! The water gurgled from the stone seams at the foot of Longquan Mountain. The water in the pool was not deep, but crystal clear, and you could clearly see the sand and gravel at the bottom of the water. The clear spring is like a spirited elf, flowing joyfully along the stone gap, making a crisp and pleasant sound, as if telling the story of the ancient town. The water of the Bunch River is as clear as a mirror, reflecting the flowers and trees on the shore. The water plants in the water sway gently with the current, just like dancers dancing in the water, which reminds people of the phrase "green grass on the soft mud, oily and swaying under the water." If you can get up early, go to "flying flowers touch the water", casually a photo is a large piece, quiet early morning, only you with the beautiful scenery, as if in a fairyland. And those who like liveliness, you can choose to go at night, when the flying flowers touch the water is extraordinary, the lights are brilliant, showing a completely different charm from the daytime. Here is a great tour route for you: start from the north gate of the ancient town of Shuhe → go to Jiuding Longtan to feel the spirit of the clear spring → pass the ancient Qinglong Bridge → stroll to Feihua touch the water to enjoy the beautiful scenery → go to all directions to listen to the sound and feel the cultural atmosphere → finally leave the Shuhe archway. Many people complain that the commercialization of the ancient town is too serious, but from another perspective, the number of tourists is huge, if it still retains the overly primitive state of life, various infrastructure simply can not meet the needs of tourists, commercialization is actually to provide tourists with a more comfortable experience. 💟 If you have enough time, it is strongly recommended to visit these three ancient towns. They have their own unique characteristics and are worth savoring. But if time is limited and you can only choose one ancient town, then leave the opportunity to Shuhe! In the ancient town of Shuhe, you can really feel that desirable sense of relaxation. Wandering through the town, butterflies dance freely among the flowers, squirrels nimbly shuttle among the branches, looking up to the sky, on a jewel-blue sky, the clouds spread wantonly, gathering and dispersing. This feeling is like the breeze blowing on the tender green willow branches, and you, as if you have walked into a beautiful picture, your heart is intoxicated with it.
