Lijiang travel tips for a cost-effective trip

Take a trip this winter and go wherever you want. Lijiang is a place that always feels new, and you can find different scenery every time you visit. Here is my cost-effective itinerary. You're welcome! ▫️ 📍Day 1: Explore Blue Moon Valley and Yak Meadow, and stargaze at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at night ▫️ Lashi Lake Known as the back garden of Lijiang, you can enjoy horseback riding and bird watching here. It takes only about an hour to drive to the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. ▫️ Blue Moon Valley The clear Tiffany blue water shines like emeralds in the sun. The beauty is breathtaking and needs no filter. ▫️ Yak Meadow Standing at an altitude of 3,600 meters, you will have a wide view. The blue sky and the silver-white snow-capped mountains form a peaceful and sacred picture. ▫️ Stargazing at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain This is a hidden gem. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain has little light pollution, making it a great place for stargazing. When night falls, the Milky Way will appear in front of you. You can join a stargazing tour at the PuXiu Star Observatory at Jinmao PuXiu. The camp offers large tents and small triangular cabins, both of which are comfortable. You can observe stars through a telescope and listen to professional teachers explain constellations. This is perfect for stargazing enthusiasts. ▫️ ✨Tips for stargazing: Use manual mode (M), set the shutter speed to 6 seconds (or more than 10 seconds if the aperture is large), aperture to F2.0, ISO to 3200, white balance to 4200K, manual exposure (MF), and time-lapse photography. 📍Day 2: Watch the sunrise at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and stroll through the ancient town ▫️ Sunrise: In winter, there is a high chance of seeing the sunrise. The current sunrise time is around 7:50-8:00. When the first ray of sunshine shines on the top of the snow-capped mountain and dyes the whole mountain golden, you will be amazed by the beauty of the world. 📷Tips for shooting: Baisha Ancient Town, Yuhu Village, Dongba Valley, and Yak Meadow are great places to shoot the sunrise. It is recommended to stay in a small town at the foot of the snow-capped mountain the night before and get up early to see this magnificent scene. ❄️ Notes: The temperature difference between day and night is large, so be sure to bring a thick coat to keep warm. 🏞️ After the trip, you can go to Shuhe Ancient Town or Dayan Ancient Town. These two ancient towns are important towns on the Ancient Tea Horse Road and have many specialty shops worth visiting. In the evening, you can find a small shop and have a drink to end your trip.
