The most satisfying accommodation in Lijiang

We booked Deep Green at the last moment before our trip, but it unexpectedly became the most wonderful experience. My husband used to resist staying in guesthouses because they are generally poorly managed and have limited conditions. However, after looking for a long time, I found the booking page of Deep Green very attractive. It seemed like an elegant retreat in the mountains, giving me an inexplicable desire to experience it. In the last three days of our trip, we arrived at Deep Green and immediately felt we made the right choice. Escaping the hustle and bustle of the ancient town, surrounded by the well-designed architecture and the natural environment of the countryside, we instantly felt at peace. We stayed in Zegu, a room with high ceilings and a bay window filled with greenery outside. The furniture and wall paintings were simple and rustic yet stylish and functional. The shower had a large and comfortable water flow, and the bedding was excellent. These two points were crucial for us, as we were tired from traveling and had a child with us. We had two nights of great sleep. Thoughtfully, earplugs and sleep spray were provided by the bed. All these details showed the guesthouse's dedication to guest comfort and attention to room details. The guesthouse's restaurant and service are also worth mentioning. All three meals suited our tastes. Breakfast featured a selection of local specialties: rice noodles, rice porridge, mushrooms, baby pumpkins, pastries, freshly ground soy milk, etc. For lunch and dinner, we could choose online in advance. Once the meals were ready, the butler would notify us to come down to eat. The service was attentive and meticulous, and the timing was perfect, so we never had to wait. The chef's skills were excellent, and we finished every meal. The guesthouse is very close to Shuhe Ancient Town, only a 600-meter walk. When we left, we also chose the guesthouse's airport transfer service, which was reasonably priced and well-scheduled. Thank you, Deep Green, for the excellent stay experience.
