Tickets[!][!][!][!] · Ticket + sightseeing bus ticket (must buy): 130 RMB · Electric cart ticket (optional): Two segments, each single trip 20 RMB, round trip 30 RMB; full route ride 60 RMB [Tour route] The scenic area has only one tour route, divided into three sections. First section: Scenic Area Visitor Center (altitude 2000m) to Shanghaizi Service Area (altitude 3580m) This section is by the scenic area's shuttle bus, 26 km in total, about 45 minutes driving time. The bus stops at "Longwang Lake," where everyone must get off, enjoy the area, then get back on to continue to Shanghaizi. It is recommended not to stay too long here; pass through quickly as the mountain scenery beyond is better. Second section: Shanghaizi to Panyang Lake (altitude 3640m) This 4.5 km section can be traveled by electric cart or on foot, about 10 minutes by vehicle. Walk on the trail; electric carts cannot use the walking path. The bus stops at "Bailong Waterfall," where you can take road photos and enjoy the waterfall. For average fitness, buy a round-trip electric cart ticket; for hiking, buy a one-way ticket, take the cart up and hike down. Third section: Panyang Lake to Swallow Rock Nest (altitude 3840m) The bus stops at "Hongshan Lake," which you can get off to explore if interested. "Swallow Rock" has a loop trail about 1 km long, all flat. For average fitness, buy a round-trip electric cart ticket; for hiking, buy a one-way ticket, take the cart up and hike down. 【Tips】 ① Must-visit spots: Panyang Lake and Swallow Rock Nest, the two core attractions where most of my photos were taken. ② Shuttle bus: The scenic area provides shuttle buses throughout, perfect for those who prefer convenience. ③ Altitude sickness: Avoid running or jumping; walk slowly. If you experience altitude sickness at Panyang Lake, it is recommended to skip Swallow Rock and descend early. ④ Motion sickness: The mountain roads are winding and the driver drives aggressively, so take motion sickness medicine in advance if needed. ⑤ Clothing: A windbreaker and hat are essential; Swallow Rock is at high altitude, so keep warm and windproof. ⑥ Weather: Weather in the plateau area changes frequently; prepare for both rain and sun protection. ⑦ Food: Supply points are available at Shanghaizi, Panyang Lake/Moon Bay, and Swallow Rock Nest; there are snacks and fruit vendors at the scenic area entrance, currently apples and plums, which taste good. ⑧ Itinerary: You can do a day trip from Chengdu or combine with Lixian Road, Siguniang Mountain, and other attractions for a multi-day tour.
