Shwe La La Pagoda

#newyearnewtrip Shwe Lala Pagoda is located right outside of Lewe Township in Nay Pyi Taw. It used to be its own city but when Nay Pyi Taw got built, the small city because a township. My family often this pagoda as it is closest to our vacation house. They have a fish pond there where you can buy fish food and feed the fish (the children love to do this). They also have a big tree called “nyaung pin” that people gather to water on a certain full moon day as tradition. It is a great pagoda to visit if you’re in the area. I would definitely feeding the fishes or turtles, etc. at any pagoda you visit as Buddhists tend to do this for good karma. Happy Travels ~
