Weekend escape with the kids, discovered a hidden gem of a guesthouse under Dawa Mountain — Daye Shiji Private Hot Spring Guesthouse🏡 Key point: the only place on the mountain with underfloor heating!!! Only found out after arriving that the owner is a local✨ Opened the shop out of nostalgia for the village, even the elevator is unique on the mountain (parents carrying strollers/luggage were moved to tears😭) The room has both underfloor heating + air conditioning double buff❄️ The kids ran barefoot on the floor without feeling cold, and the private hot spring pool faces the mountain view🌲 I soaked in the hot spring, drank tea, and enjoyed the mountain breeze, while the kids pressed against the glass counting leaves — so healing I want to stay until retirement! Daytime activities with the kids unlocked✅: ▫️Picking vegetables grown by the guesthouse🥬 ▫️Digging fresh wild bamboo shoots (the kitchen cooked them right away, the kids devoured two big bowls🍚) In the afternoon, we strolled to the foot of Dawa Mountain, where the air was as sweet as if filtered🌿 The best part was the night🌃 The underfloor heating kept the room cozy, the kids lay on the bed watching stars, and I collapsed on the sofa scrolling on my phone This is the right way to enjoy a vacation with kids! 📍Location: Daye Shiji Private Hot Spring Guesthouse (near Dawa Mountain/Tianchi/ Gulu Village)
