Leshan: more than just the Giant Buddha 🌟

I visited Leshan from Chengdu for two days, it takes only 1h by highspeed train and is the perfect weekend getaway from Chengdu. 🚝 I had no expectations except seeing the Giant Buddha statue which was just mindblowing. 🪷☸️ But other than that I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the city is. 🌿🌱 It’s incredibly green and I especially loved walking by the old city wall at night and seeing everything beautifully light up. 🌆 There’s even a hidden city view spot at Laoxiao top, just behind the Confucius temple ⛩️ #leshangiantbuddha #citywalk
