📍 Leshan Giant Buddha Guide | World’s Largest Seated Buddha Statue

Standing at 71 meters tall, the Leshan Giant Buddha (乐山大佛) is carved into the cliffs of Lingyun Mountain and has been guarding the confluence of three rivers for over 1,200 years. A true UNESCO marvel and 5A scenic spot! 🗿 🧭 There are two recommended routes: 🔹 Full Tour (1.5–3 hours): North Gate → Buddha Head Viewing Platform → Lingyun Temple → Lingbao Pagoda → Wuyou Temple → Buddha Foot Viewing → Exit South Gate Covers all main attractions, with some stairs and slopes. Suitable for those with time and stamina. Do note that the stairs and slopes are steep and can be slippery if it rains. 🔹 Essence Route (0.5–1.5 hours): Focuses on key highlights like the Buddha Head and optional descent to the feet. Ideal for visitors or those with limited time. 🚤 Boat Tour (¥70): Skip the hiking! Enjoy a panoramic river view of the Giant Buddha without climbing.
