I planned my long-awaited trip to Leshan as the last stop of my trip to western Sichuan! Suji Ancient Town ☞ the birthplace of Qiaojiao beef, with a history of over 1,400 years. Qiaojiao beef 🥩: To be honest, the signature dish didn't feel particularly special, the beef was very fresh, the soup was very delicious, and there was a lot of cilantro. You must dip it in the dry seasoning to experience the true essence of Qiaojiao beef. Sister Yang's shredded eel 🐍: The shredded eel is cut into strips as thick as shredded potatoes, and a portion is about 350–400 g. The shredded eel is crispy and tender, and you can taste the freshness. Maybe the taste is not much different from Chongqing cuisine, it was not as amazing as I imagined. Sweet-skinned duck 🐥: Maybe my expectations were too high, I was a little disappointed. The duck skin was not too sweet, but the taste was good and very fragrant. The meat was too thick, and it tasted a bit like goose meat. Personally, I still prefer duck meat with less skin and a sweeter taste.
