I planned my long-awaited trip to Leshan as the last stop of my trip to western Sichuan! Suji Ancient Town ☞ the birthplace of Qiaojiao beef, with a history of over 1,400 years. In 2021, it was named a "Suji Qiaojiao Beef Specialty Town" by the People's Government of Sichuan Province. The main ingredient of Qiaojiao beef is also the culture of Suji Ancient Town, which is a town that fully presents the historical and cultural characteristics of "Qiaojiao beef." It's not an exaggeration to arrange the first meal in Leshan here. But there was a real problem with the choice, there were too many Qiaojiao beef restaurants, how could I choose? So experience told me, "You can't go wrong if you go to a crowded place 💃😃😃😃." The Qiaojiao beef restaurant I went to was very large, and the words "intangible cultural heritage" were particularly eye-catching. The waiters were very enthusiastic. In addition to Qiaojiao beef as the signature dish, many authentic Leshan delicacies can be arranged here. This is also one of the reasons for choosing their restaurant. Qiaojiao beef 🥩: To be honest, the signature dish didn't feel particularly special, the beef was very fresh, the soup was very delicious, and there was a lot of cilantro. You must dip it in the dry seasoning to experience the true essence of Qiaojiao beef. Sister Yang's shredded eel 🐍: The shredded eel is cut into strips as thick as shredded potatoes, and a portion is about 350–400 g. The shredded eel is crispy and tender, and you can taste the freshness. Maybe the taste is not much different from Chongqing cuisine, it was not as amazing as I imagined. Sweet-skinned duck 🐥: Maybe my expectations were too high, I was a little disappointed. The duck skin was not too sweet, but the taste was good and very fragrant. The meat was too thick, and it tasted a bit like goose meat. Personally, I still prefer duck meat with less skin and a sweeter taste. I didn't expect that besides these three signature dishes, their other Sichuan dishes were actually quite good. ♧ Old beef tendon ♧ Boiled beef tongue ♧ Tender and smooth ♧ All very distinctive.
