Ludicrously lovely Lecce

Lecce is known as the Florence of the south and for good reason. The ornate church façades with their intricate carvings will leave you spellbound, the altars inside are even more incredible. One very interesting site not to be missed is the sunken Roman amphitheatre! They are regular train and coach services from Brindisi, the journey time is about 30 minutes so it can easily be done as a date from Brindisi, but to really get the most letter you need to spend at least two or three days. #getgoing2025 #lecce #apulia #puglia #italy
