A Wonderful Gili Experience

We adore Gili! We've visited several times， and it’s wonderful reconnecting with many Gili friends on our trips back. It truly speaks to the opportunities provided， as everyone appears genuinely content and very involved. To me， the Villa Suites at Gili are the best in the Maldives; I especially admire the large rooftop terrace and the fully open living room. The lagoon， with its stunning blue hues， remains unmatched in beauty， and I enjoy the breakfast setting with my feet in the sand beneath palm trees， just a minute's walk from the pool. Snorkeling at the housereef was particularly rewarding this time—thanks， Matthew—with an eagle ray even leaping from the water during our excursion. A private snorkeling trip let us swim with manta rays， a true dream fulfilled. We cherish Gili's food; it is pure excellence. Dinner at By the Sea， the Indian night， and dining on your rooftop terrace at sunset are some of our clear favorites. Yoga and meditation each morning at sunrise were excellent， a wonderful way to start the day， along with the three spa treatments I indulged in. However， the real highlight is the people who make us feel so at home. Huge thanks to everyone， especially Rodrigo， Zubba， Boa， Amin， Thasleem， Rohan， and Gayan. The wine and cheese tasting with Rohan was another memorable moment—both educational and fun—and for my son， they arranged a non-alcoholic wine and chocolate tasting.
