The hotel is the brainchild of Lek and Bill Bensley, and it shows in every detail. 🎨 A Design That Surprises and Delights Bensley once admitted he was obsessed with Moroccan blue, and he truly brought that obsession to life here. The deep blues and intricate patterns sit beautifully against the backdrop of the Andaman Sea, creating a visual harmony that feels both bold and calming. 🏖️ Private Beach That Sets You Free The private beach is an absolute highlight. It’s wide, open, and inviting—standing there, you feel your entire being expand. The sand is powdery white, and the two swimming pools are well-placed for both relaxation and views. This is a perfect spot for those seeking peace and space. 🛁 Rooms with Character (and a Bit of Age) The bathroom design screams Lek’s signature style—bold, sculptural, immersive. It reminded me of his work at Rayavadee Krabi and The Barai in Hua Hin. That said, the rooms themselves are showing their age. A bit of mustiness, and some wear and tear—unsurprising for a property nearing 20 years. A renovation would elevate the experience significantly. 🍽️ Dining & Service Overall, the food is quite good—lunch and dinner were both solid. Breakfast, however, felt underwhelming, with limited variety and no standouts. Service was excellent—discreet yet attentive. One thing I noticed and appreciated: every morning, the garden and lawn are meticulously maintained by a whole team. You can tell they care.
