Koh Phithak, Chumphon Province 🏝️Located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, 1 kilometer from the coast, Koh Phithak was originally called Koh Phithak because in the past, fishermen went fishing and arrived at Koh Phithak. When they looked up at the shore on the island, they saw the shadow of a person waving at them. However, when they got closer to the island, they saw no one. As a result, the fishermen called the island Koh Phithak until villagers started to live on the island. Therefore, the name was changed from Koh Phithak to Koh Phithak for good luck. 🏖️There are many homestay accommodations on the island. During low tide, you can walk from the shore to the island.
