Huap Tad Forest, ancient forest

#HuapPaTa #UthaiThani HuapPaTa is assumed to have been a cave before, and the roof collapsed, becoming a valley or pond in the middle of the mountain. There is only one entrance and exit, making the area a relatively closed ecosystem. It is moist all year round, allowing only certain plants to grow well, and that plant is the taro tree, which is the origin of the name of the place. HuapPaTa was discovered by Phra Khru Santithamkoson or Luang Pho Thongyot, the abbot of Tham Thong Temple in 1979. He climbed the mountain and found the strangeness and beauty of this place, which was full of taro trees and many species of plants. Later, a tunnel or cave was drilled into the mountain. In addition to various trees, HuaapPaTa also has pink dragon millipedes.
