We spent one unforgettable night staying in Holiday park near by Lake Tekapo, surrounded by peaceful nature and stunning views. At night, we were lucky to catch a clear sky filled with stars and the Milky Way—absolutely magical. Waking up to the serene lake view, with birds flying and Mount Cook in the distance, was the perfect way to start the day. For breakfast, we headed up to Astro Café, where we enjoyed great coffee and panoramic mountain views. Afterwards, we took a scenic drive towards Mount Cook and stopped at Tapataia Mahaka Peter’s Lookout along Lake Pukaki. The viewpoint offered another breathtaking perspective of the turquoise lake and majestic mountains.
