Opened in 2020! This is the first time I felt like I didn't have enough time in the hotel. "Umekoji Potel Kyoto" ☕️ How to enjoy ① (② will be in the next post📝) 📌15:00 check in- The rooms with terraces and park views have an open feel, and the warmth of wood makes you feel relaxed☺️ The bathroom and toilet are separate. 📌16:30 Experience making koji seasoning at the Umekoji Fermentation Plant below the hotel. It was fresh and fun to make soy sauce koji on the swing chair inside the store~ 📌19:00-dinner Enjoy a special fermented dinner. A blissful fermented course "Neru" made with fermented seasonings such as miso, soy sauce, and vinegar made by slowly aging koji The miso-marinated beef loin and fermented shiitake mushroom soup have a gentle taste that you've never experienced before, and are so delicious that you can eat them easily even if you're full. 📌20:00-Experience Kyoto's public bath culture at Poteyu. Sauna included‼︎The design of Poteyu has a traditional feel to it. ♨️ 📌21:00-There's a room on the 4th floor where you can listen to records, so put in a record you like and relax for the night🌙 Then we went to the spacious rooftop terrace. You can see Kyoto Tower and Toji Temple. ! 📌22:00-Fall asleep in a cozy room...😌 ____________________________________ The next morning, we enjoyed a breakfast buffet in takeout style. Choose your breakfast at the restaurant (a wide variety of side dishes!) → Take it back to your room and enjoy it on the balcony. It's so fulfilling, there are so many ways to enjoy it, and each room is packed with attention to detail.
