[Kyoto City] A tranquil and peaceful place

Honen-in Temple is located to the east of Kyoto City, off the Philosopher's Path. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Jodo-ji bus stop on the Kyoto Municipal Bus. I visited in June when the green leaves were beautiful, and it was covered in green and very quiet. I was drawn into a world filled with green leaves, ferns and mosses, and felt a real Japanese atmosphere. I was able to spend about 30 minutes feeling the pleasant air and relaxing. It is known as a spot to see autumn leaves, but the green leaves season is just as recommended.
