It is a magnificent view that you can only believe it by seeing it with your own eyes. ❄️Visiting Guide｜Kifune Shrine・Winter Edition ☁️Transportation: From downtown Kyoto, take the Eizan Electric Railway to Kibuneguchi Station, transfer to the Kyoto Bus (or walk for about 20 minutes) to "Kifune Shrine". It is recommended to leave early, as the temperature in the mountains will drop rapidly in the afternoon and evening. 🕯️Winter Lighting Event (Kifune Snow Lantern): It is held on weekends from mid-January to early February every year. The specific time must be checked on the official website announcement or social platform. When it snows, the lights will be lit up, and the atmosphere on site is dreamy and mysterious. It is recommended to wear non-slip shoes and warm clothes. ☁️Last ​​bus reminder: The last bus time varies according to the season. In winter, it is mostly around 17:30. Please leave the Kibune area before 18:00 at the latest to avoid missing the bus. You can also choose to walk to Kibune Station and go down the mountain. The whole mountain road is not long, but because the sky is getting dark and the snow is still falling, the pace naturally slows down. Passing the frozen pool and the snow-covered ema wall on the way, the whole shrine seems to have become a place outside of time.
