Amazing Oden with special broth

This place is truly a hidden gem in Kyoto, I was looking for a place to go for Oden and found this place! It’s called Ponshu ya Santoku Rokumi, this place serve one often the best oden. Even my husband who usually doesn’t take Oden approved this place. This place is located out of the touristy area, we were lucky to get a seat immediately without booking. This place is famous for oden, their broth was cooked for 9 hours with special ingredient, but its chicken base. I mean just look at the colour of the soup, it’s so think and tasty, I love how they serve it a few different times so that the soup won’t get cold so easily. My fav here is definitely the Daikon, it absorb all the delicious broth and it’s so yummy. They sell sashimi with very reasonable price too, best paired with their sake! This place is so chill, you can experience their local culture in a comfortable seating area, highly recommend!
