Zen Cafe is a teahouse overlooking the courtyard in a 300-year-old Edo-period machiya townhouse facing Muromachi Street. From the moment you enter the shop, you'll think, "Ah, I love this place..." because of the calm and stylish atmosphere. It has a modern, clean design while still retaining the feel of an old Kyoto house, and it was very tasteful.
