Between the Thousand Torii Gates, Enter the Time Tunnel of Fushimi Inari

When you step into Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in the early morning, the air is filled with the faint scent of cypress. The vermilion Thousand Torii gates meander like a snake, as if leading me through time and space. Each torii is engraved with the name and wishes of the donor, silently witnessing the prayers and beliefs of countless people. Walking slowly up the mountain path, you can hear the sound of wind and the occasional ringing of bells, which is mysterious and peaceful. On the way, we encountered several leisurely little fox stone statues. Legend has it that they are the messengers of the Inari God, guarding this sacred land. When we reached the middle of the mountain, looking back at the city view of Kyoto, everything seemed small and gentle. This short but profound journey has become an eternal scene in my heart.
