#Spring0yentrip Ninnaji is a prestigious temple on the west side of Kyoto, with a relaxed atmosphere. After passing through the gate, a wide approach stretches straight ahead, and the first thing that catches your eye is the five-story pagoda towering at the end. The temple grounds are very spacious, and unlike the central area crowded with tourists, there is an atmosphere where you can walk quietly and enjoy the buildings and gardens. At the main temple, you can view the palace garden, where a beautiful dry landscape garden with white sand, moss, pine trees and stones spreads out in harmony. In addition, in spring, low-growing cherry trees called Omurozakura bloom in full bloom, and their delicate beauty brightens up the temple grounds, making me want to visit in another season. As a monzeki temple where a member of the imperial family once served as the chief priest, there is a calm atmosphere with a certain dignity, and I was able to spend time away from the hustle and bustle and feel my mind at peace.
