It is hard not to be attracted by the strong Showa style emanating from the door when passing by. Upon checking, I found out that Rokuyosha has been in business for more than 70 years. It is not only a favorite place for locals, but also popular with foreign tourists. I quickly opened the door and visited it~ ☕It was my first time here and I didn’t know what to order, so I just ordered a cup of "osusume black coffee" in very ordinary English and Japanese. The finished product served by the proprietress was amazing, the slight sourness brought out the clarity of the coffee, and the fruity aroma bloomed in the mouth, with rich layers. Although the store provided two sugar cubes and fresh cream, I didn’t want to ruin the experience so I didn’t try it. ☕The store also provides simple light meals. Next to me, there is a white-bearded man wearing a gentleman's hat drinking coffee and eating an egg sandwich while flipping through a newspaper.
