The Jikkoku-bune is a pleasure boat from the Edo period that has been recreated as a sightseeing boat. It is said that it once transported sake, rice, and passengers between Kyoto and Osaka. You can take a boat ride through the historical scenery of Fushimi, such as the willow-lined streets and sake breweries, while feeling like you have traveled back in time. In addition to riding the boat, we also recommend walking slowly under the cherry blossom tunnel along the river, which is a very atmospheric experience. The riverbank is lined with flowers that add color to the cherry blossom scenery, such as white snow willows and yellow daffodils, so you can take beautiful photos here and there.
