Yasaka Shrine

The shrine is famous for its beautiful vermilion gate, or torii, which marks the entrance to the shrine. Once inside, visitors can explore the beautiful grounds and various buildings, including the main hall and worship hall. The shrine is particularly popular during the Gion Festival, one of Japan's most famous festivals, which takes place in July. Overall, Yasaka Shrine is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Japanese culture, history, and architecture, and provides facilties for prayers, Omikuji and buying lucky charms.
