Charming Arashiyama area

Scenic place by the lake at Arashiyama during Autumn. You can rent Kimono from nearby shops and explore a few photo spots around the area. The bamboo forest is also walking distance away. Will recommend to come early as it can be quite crowded in the day especially the bamboo forest. There are also some cafes/ temples near the area that are good for chilling. We went to a small temple to enjoy a cup of matcha green tea while getting some photos. #arashiyama #schoolholidays
