Yamanaka Oil Shop, Kyoto

This is a long-established oil store in Kyoto. In addition to their own products, they have a wide variety of edible oils from around the world that you've never seen before, which is interesting. The product explanations are thorough, there are samples, and the packaging design is wonderful, so I think it's good for both home use and gifts. It's a fun store where you can get cooking recipes and hear eye-opening stories, so I go there regularly. The large waterwheel is eye-catching, and the store's structure that has been passed down for generations is a must-see. They often have stalls at Kyoto product exhibitions that are often held at department stores, so when I can't go to Kyoto, I buy them there.
