Kuranda Bird World - Cheeky and Colorful

Approximately 30 minutes from Cairns, North Queensland you will find the beautiful little village of Kuranda. During our visit we took time to visit BirdWorld. What a fantastic experience! From the moment you walk into the enclosure the cheeky colorful birds begin interacting with you, some will even talk with you. The colorful birds are captivating. You can access Kuranda by car, public transport, Skyrail or Train. We drove privately by car but if you have time I recommend considering the Scenic Railway or the Skyrail. The Scenic Railway and Skyrail leave from different locations. I highly recommend to plan your day well as most shops in the village close at 3:30pm.
