Yuantong Temple | Kunming

#TravelChina Temple de Yuantong Yuantong Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple in Kunming with a long history. Visitors to Kunming should definitely visit. The entrance fee is 6 yuan, paid at the entrance. Upon entering, there are incense and candles available to offer as desired. Follow the path, lined with cherry trees, blooming beautifully. The temple is relatively quiet. The octagonal pavilion in the middle of the pond houses the Thousand-Faced Guanyin and the Burmese Guanyin. A short walk further back is the ubosot (ordination hall) housing the Thai Buddha Chinnarat.
