2 days in Kunming, Yunnan

Day 1 After checking into our budget hotel we walked to Green Lake to find food and to walk around. 🥐Bon Appetito Bakery - buy a Chocolate Toast We walked to Nanping Pedestrian Street and Old Kunming Road and ate Wild Mushroom Hotpot, a Yunnan traditional meal. Day 2 We got a didi to Shilin Stone Forrest (360 RMB each way) and spent the morning there. If you are looking for peace and quiet venture away from the Major Stone forest to the outskirts of the scenic area for equally beautiful scenery without the crowds. We returned to Kunming to Dianchi Lake and walked alongside the lake. It was Sunday and very busy. We continued walking to the Yunnan Nationalities Village which we loved. It was quiet and there was lots to see. We took a didi to the Lost Garden restaurant and then walked back to the hotel. #familytrip #localguides #kunming #yunnan
