🚗 I saw on the app that both Delta and Sheraton in Kunming cost 10k points, so I thought I'd try it before I left, and I could check out late in the afternoon for my evening flight. The two hotels are together, I think they should be twin towers, sharing some facilities. The app price for Sheraton is close to 800 yuan, while Delta is only about 500 yuan, so I chose Sheraton. Overall, the experience was really good, and I think the points redemption is really cost-effective. 🚗 Location F3, Fukun City Shopping Center, 206 Longhui Road, Guandu District 🚗 Check-in experience 1. The day before check-in, the hotel manager called to ask what room type to upgrade to, you can choose an executive king or family room. Although I often stay at Marriott, this kind of greeting is very rare, so the first impression was very good. 2. The location is a bit remote, and it is not very convenient to take the subway or bus. It takes about 20 minutes to take a taxi from the train station if there is no traffic jam, and you can also consider driving. 3. Check-in was also smooth, and they helped me with a 4 pm late check-out. I chose points for the stay, so it was equivalent to 9k. 4. The hotel should not have been open for long, and the lobby and room are decorated in a modern style. 5. The curtains and toilets in the room are all smart devices, and the decoration has some traditional styles mixed in. 6. Maybe because it was upgraded to an executive king, there was a large Chinese table and chairs inside... and a small sofa, this style is a bit out of place... 7. Because the front desk also informed me that the tour group was having breakfast on the first floor, the experience may not be very good, so I was advised to have breakfast in the lounge, which was quite good. 8. The lounge is on the 29th floor, with an open view but nothing to see. The food is basically enough, and the attitude of the greeter and several waiters is very good.
