Lianhuachi Park: Find a moment of peace in the bustling city.

Lianhuachi is located in the northern part of Kunming, northwest of Yuantong Mountain, at the foot of Shang Mountain. There is a water outlet on the side of the pool, which flows into the Panlong River when full. According to historical records, Lianhuachi originated in the Tang Dynasty and became one of the "Six Scenic Spots of Dianyang" in the early Ming Dynasty, with the reputation of "Golden Dragon Pool." Legend has it that there are five dragon eyes in the pool, and clear springs have been gushing for hundreds of years. Lianhuachi was once selected as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Kunming" along with "Cuidi Spring Dawn" in Cuihu, and because of its important connection with historical figures Wu Sangui and Chen Yuanyuan, Lianhuachi has become a "double attraction" of Kunming's natural scenery and human geography. The park is currently open to the public for free, so feel free to visit.
