We boarded a ferry from Motobu Port on the way to the Ocean Expo Memorial Park, where the Churaumi Aquarium is located. You can also load a car, so you can rent a car and get around! You can also rent a bicycle locally! We were rocked on the boat for 30 minutes while looking at Sesoko Island and Ocean Expo Memorial Park. We arrived at Ie Island 🚢 First, we headed to Shiroyama (Iejima Tacchu), the symbol of Ie Island. We climbed the promenade and climbed the mountain... We arrived at the top where we could see Ie Island in its entirety. The view was so spectacular that it blew away all our fatigue ✨ Ie Island was also one of the fiercest battlefields of the Battle of Okinawa. There are also buildings preserved as relics from the Battle of Okinawa. It is also an important place to learn about the Battle of Okinawa. It is also known as the place where Ernie Pyle, a journalist who served in the US military, died in battle.
